WP6: Project coordination
WP Leader: ATB and AgHiTech
Objectives
-
Foster efficient information flow
-
Early identification, assessment and management of administrative and technical risks
-
Interaction with ICT-AGRI-FOOD
Description of content:
The project management, conducted in close cooperation with WP5, will facilitate that all aspects of the project / all work package activities are well integrated and a good communication flow within and out of the project is ensured. A detailed risk management plan will be regularly evaluated and updated on-demand. This way, we ensure to identify any obstacles, risks and delays timely and make necessary adjustments without delaying the overall work in order to ensure high quality results.
The region- and sector-specific expertise in the project consortium shall be expanded by implementing an international advisory board with experts and stakeholders from countries not yet involved in the consortium. It will offer high-end consultation services to ensure that the project's results will match the relevant community needs.
The Project Coordination Group (PCG) will consist of representatives of the individual WPs. The PCG will monitor and assess the project’s progress and make amendments, where necessary. As the project’s highest decision board, it will have the overall responsibility for decisions regarding the strategic orientation (major project revisions, collaboration with other projects, etc.) as well as legal, administrative, ethical, and dissemination issues, which will be detailed in a consortium agreement and in the strategy documents designed in WP5. The project coordinator, Dr. Hempel (ATB), will chair the PCG and manage the internal communication and coordination of the entire project. Prof. Banhazi (AgHiTech) will be deputy project coordinator.
