About Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University
Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University (TOGU) was established as a public higher education institution in Tokat Province of Turkiye, 1992. It currently has one Institute of Graduate Studies 17 Faculties including Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and Faculty of Agriculture in addition to 2 schools of higher education, 13 vocational schools, one state conservatory. It has also an agricultural research and application center which contributes to agricultural education, research and service applications.
TOGU is a transparent, participatory, enterprising university contributing to the economic, social and cultural structure of its region and country by producing knowledge and technology through scientific and social activities. According to the results of the AD Scientific Index 2022 Scientist and University Ranking, which ranks thousands of scientists from all over the world in terms of their publication performance (h-index / i10 index and scores) and productivity in the last five years, TOGU ranks 15th among state universities in Turkey, and 352nd in regional rankings. 53 faculty members are among the "Best 10,000 researchers". According to the UI Greenmetric world university rankings for 2021, TOGU achieved a great success by taking the 256th place in the world. In this ranking, including many universities from Turkey, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University got the 14th rank, proving its strength in this field.
TOGU have duties in all work packages in ET4D. TOGU will develop an operative simplified environmental monitoring system to observe the effect of heat stress on their animals and their impact on the greenhouse gas emissions. TOGU will contribute to the development and testing of a web-based greenhouse gas emission evaluation and reporting system. TOGU will also contribute to the relevant greenhouse gas emission data analysis andvisualization.
